First Dance

A 2 year late wedding present for my nephew and new niece. A December wedding! It was before the pandemic, a Christmas wedding. I am not a live wedding painter. I get so many requests for that service. I paint from favorite photos after the event which allows me to work in my studio. Are these two not just charming and beautiful? Almost looks like they are from another century! ( except for the hip glasses! )

Most recent commission. A Christmas present to a couple from the groom’s mom. His father took this golden light photo over 10 years ago. I was thrilled to paint this. My favorite kind of light to paint!

This painting was given as a surprise gift to the bride and groom. Five aunts of the bride got together and commissioned the painting. What a way to celebrate that special moment. Painted from a reference photograph by the talented Addie Roberge
