Marshal guarding Supreme Court justice's home shoots 18-year-old who tried to carjack him A deputy U.S. Marshal allegedly shot a man who attempted to carjack him outside of a Supreme Court justice's home, according to records.

I still lack the words to even attempt to express anything close to what would be required to provide real comfort to those affected by this tragedy…

That being said…one our brothers wrote the following:

Our last words of this world should not be stolen from us. I challenge you all to write letters to close family and friends for the day after you leave this world. That way, your words aren’t “police,” “drop the gun,” “come out with your hands up” like so many before us have said.

Write the words you want to say. Remind those closest to you of your favorite memories. Remind them how much they are loved.

Remember, together, we fight. Together, we stand. We are a force that never stops despite the attacks. We push forward with strength not known to man. We are the United States Marshals Service.
