THIS JUST IN:
New discovery by local anglers brings proof that FISH are found at the end of the rainbow.
That is all the information we have at this moment, but we expect to learn much more in the coming days of summer.

The salt marshes and rivers of St. Simons Island play an important role in filtering pollutants, nutrients and sediments before they reach the waters of the ocean. By keeping the intracoastal waterways clean and healthy, we are helping keep the oceans clean and healthy.
Many of the Land Trust properties on this barrier island are located along the saltmarsh, leading out to rivers like the Altamaha, Hampton and Mackay Rivers, which then lead out to the Atlantic. Our land stewards, volunteers and partners work tirelessly to ensure the properties remain clean, safe and healthy for a thriving biodiverse ecosystem!
