Some spiders 🕷🕸 can be beneficial because they eat insects that can damage things like gardens and crops.

Yellow garden spiders, for instance, diet consists of aphids, grasshoppers, mosquitos, flies, wasps and other insects that may do damage to crops. Found throughout the US in gardens, fields, clearings and other sunny areas. Since they are a part of the orb weaver family, they spin circular webs 🕸 strung from twigs, leaves, branches, a/c units, decks and homes. Average size of a female is 3/4″ to 1 1/8″. Males are three times smaller.

While harmless to humans, orb weavers can be a nuisance, especially if you walk face first into their web!!🕸😵🤬
