🌟 Wednesday Wins at ABS! 🌟

This week’s Wednesday Win comes from our North Campus SEB classroom, where students have been showing off their incredible creativity and growth in ELA!

Throughout the summer, this group has been working through a short story unit, building their writing skills one step at a time. This week, they had the opportunity to write their own stories independently, and they absolutely impressed us! From engaging dialogue and correctly using quotation marks to vivid details that brought their stories to life, these young authors demonstrated just how much they’ve learned. Their hard work, creativity, and attention to detail made for some truly outstanding writing.

We are so proud of the dedication these students have shown and can’t wait to see where their imaginations take them next. Keep up the amazing work, North students!

Today we celebrate Juneteenth and honor its significance in our nation’s history.

ABS is closed today in observance of the holiday. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful day of reflection and celebration.

We have so much to celebrate this week!

🌟Our new students have done an amazing job adjusting to their new school environment and building relationships with their teams.

🌟 Our returning students are doing a fantastic job transitioning back into their routines after a two-week break.

🌟 One of our clinic clients independently requested to use the potty by taking staff to the potty sign marking a huge communication and independence milestone!

🌟 A student successfully joined a brand-new group for the first time today and did an excellent job navigating this new experience.

🌟 We are also incredibly proud of our staff members who are working with new students, learning new positions, or just beginning their journey with ABS. Your flexibility, dedication, and positive attitudes are making a difference every day.

These moments are what make our work so rewarding. We are proud of our students, grateful for our staff, and excited to celebrate the progress happening across ABS every day!
