This annual event celebrates disability pride and the many contributions, perspectives, and experiences of people with disabilities. It's a day to connect, enjoy entertainment, activities, food, and build community.

Yesterday, we celebrated the anniversary of the Olmstead decision, a landmark Supreme Court case that codified the right to supportive services in the most integrated setting possible, including home-and-community based settings. Now a legal memo from the Department of Justice is putting those protections into question.

We should absolutely celebrate the milestones, but make no mistake -- the fight for disability rights goes on!
