Each round is a new battle.

At 9 Rounds of Recovery, every punch, every movement, and every moment of encouragement reminded us of the recovery journey — one round at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time.

Recovery is not meant to be walked alone. We need connection. We need community. We need people standing beside us through the hard rounds and celebrating with us in the victories.

That is the heart of Restore Recovery: creating safe, supportive spaces where men and women can heal, grow, rebuild, and keep fighting for the life God has for them.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, worked hard, encouraged one another, and reminded us what strength in community looks like.

We are still feeling inspired after the 2026 Breaking the Surface Summit! 💙

Restore Recovery was grateful to spend the day surrounded by people who care deeply about prevention, recovery, mental health, justice involvement, advocacy, and the power of lived experience.

Every conversation was a reminder that recovery does not happen in isolation. It happens when communities come together, when people are willing to listen, when stories are shared, and when support systems are strengthened.

Thank you to the speakers, panelists, attendees, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and partners who made this day so meaningful. Your passion and commitment are helping move this work forward in powerful ways.

We left encouraged, challenged, and reminded that real change is possible when we work together to create healthier communities and stronger pathways to recovery.

She knew what it felt like to not have a safe place to land.

After going through treatment herself, Mindy’s life was completely transformed. She found faith, purpose, and a calling she never expected: to work with women.

For 15 years, she served women in treatment and saw the same heartbreaking pattern again and again. Women would do the hard work, gain tools, find hope — and then leave treatment without the stable housing, support, and community they needed to keep moving forward.

She began asking why.

Why were women returning to the same dysfunction?
Why were they relapsing after doing the work?
Why was the gap after treatment so hard to cross?

The answer became clear: when you are worried about where you are going to sleep, you are not thinking about your future.

So Mindy rose from the ashes of her own story and created something different — a place where women could find stability, structure, accountability, community, and a safe home after treatment.

In just two years, Restore Recovery has helped more than 100 women take their next step toward healing, hope, and a new future.

What began as one woman’s “yes” has become a lifeline for many.

This is what restoration looks like.
