Job No. 1: engage parents The No. 1 thing the St. Joseph School District needs to do in the coming years — beyond boosting student achievement — is to engage parents in supporting education and our local schools.
Site preparation for the new school being built at Carden Park (16th & Duncan) is continuing. It'll be fun watching this school emerge from the ground. PACT For SJSD led the development of a community driven Facilities Master Plan. As a result, 65% of the community supported the renewal of a bond levy - the widest margin of support of a bond levy renewal in recent SJSD history.
