Who wouldn’t want their pups to cuddle while getting a facial in the comfort of their own home?!! I have been loving visiting my clients to do house call services! Especially when they have cute fur babes🥰🐶🤍
How is your skin doing with this weird weather in between winter and spring?? Are you feeling more dry than normal, tell me what’s up!
Maybe it’s time for your monthly facial to kick it back into shape💫

Increase your cell turnover‼️
Skin cell turnover describes the cycle of shedding dead skin cells and their replacement with fresh, new, younger, healthier cells. Cells start out plump and full of moisture in the bottom layer of the epidermis. As the cells mature, they rise through the compact layers of the epidermis becoming flatter and drier until they reach the surface of the skin. By this point, the cells are just dry flakes of keratin.
How quickly or slowly this process occurs depends on age, environment, UV exposure, hormones, the foods we eat, and whether or not you smoke.
Age is the main factor that will effect everyone. Babies have super speed cell turnover, completing a cell turnover cycle in under two weeks, hence the phrase, “Smooth as a babies bottom”!
For teens, the process takes three to four weeks and begins to slow by around 25 years old. By 40 years, it takes about 45 days to complete the skin cell cycle. By your fifties, it can be as long as 60 days.
The longer the cycle takes, the more dead cells are building up on the surface. This build up will look heavy, dry, and dull. Dead cells create clogged and stretched pores, causing trapped oil/ bacteria, aka teen acne AND adult acne!! Lines and wrinkles will also appear as the dead cells accumulate, while patches of sun spots or hyperpigmentation will appear darker. See, literally all your skin issues.
This is why it is ESSENTIAL to increase your cell turnover rate and maintain a healthy routine!!
HOW?! Exfoliate.
2-3 times per week, depending on the product. This is the answer to reduce “pore size”, clear acne, brighten sun damage and prevent wrinkles.
One of my favorite products to solve all those issues, Glycolic and Retinol Pads. The easiest way to exfoliate, use it like you would toner, swipe it on leave it, add moisturizer on top!
Glycolic acid and Retinol are known for increasing cellular turnover by breaking up the dead cell layers. Kojic acid and Arbutin are natural brightening agents that work to clear sun spots or scars left from blemishes.

I want you to know that I have appreciated your support and loyalty the past couple of years more than I can explain. However due to the rough year we all just experienced, I have made the decision to discontinue renting my salon room at Body Spa. It really just came down to a handful of regular clients and it doesn’t make sense to spend my money on rent, for now. I’m sad to let my space go but this doesn’t end Skin with Linds!
I will be keeping my website running, selling products, offering private mobile services to my loyal Vegas clients, offering skincare advice and virtual consultations, and finally scheduling monthly visits to St George again for my Utah clients!
I have my salon room until Jan 16 so if you have gift cards to use up, let’s get you in before then please, message me to schedule!
Again I have loved treating you and hope to continue to have your support through my next Skin With Linds Adventures.
