The Key Man

The Key Man is looking for a full time committed employee who lives within 5 miles of St. George. Hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm, plus on call night and weekend rotation. Training wage $12 - $15 hr depending on mechanical experience and ability to learn quickly. Quick learners will receive raises within a month. Once trained, and on our after hour call rotation (expectation 2 weeks) you receive 40% commission for after hour service.

Expected duties:
- Greeting customers
- Answering phones, price quotes and scheduling.
- Restocking shop and ordering
- Clean up & organizing
- Learnjng to cut/duplicate all keys, including high security keys. This includes learning how to find correct keyblanks.
- Learning code lookup & code cutting
- Picking locks
- Re-key & master key locks
- Originate keys, which will include ability to take locks apart and put back together. Key by Impression, sight originating, progression, and learning new advanced tools for originating.
- Transponder key programming
- Vehicle lockout opening
- Vehicle lock rebuilding, repair and replacement, which will include ability to remove door panels and ignitions.
- Willingness and ability to keep learning the industry. There is always more to learn, new locks, vehicles and technology.

Fully trained or experienced Locksmith $16 - $25hr plus on call after hours at 40% commission.

All Locksmith duties, including on call service, and shop. Some of the common work performed will be, duplicate keys, keys by code, original keys, key impression, rekeying, master-keying, auto transponder programming, repairs, door hardware installation, price quoting, and scheduling. Experience preferred, but willing to train technically inclined, friendly, dedicated, and hard worker. We run 24 hour on call service, and you will be required to rotate on taking phones and running night calls and weekends, which is commission based. Health and dental insurance benefits available. Pay rate depends on experience. You will receive raises as you learn and are able to do more. We are an established and busy company with over 35 years of business serving the St. George community. No experience wages start at $10- $12 per hour. Experience $16-$20 and negotiable
