The most common place for leaks is along seams, whether it's the windows on your house, or the tubes and seals on your truck's radiator. A radiator expert can double-check the seams to make sure they're in good shape and prevent problems.
All diesel vehicles are going to be subject to a tampering inspection at the time of an emissions inspection. This type of inspection looks for the presence of properly fitted fuel tank caps, as well as the seamless operation of any emission control devices.
Mismatched tires are not only costly but they can be a safety hazard! New tires can compensate for old tires resulting in uneven wear and potential blowouts, which could possibly cause a crash. Avoid mismatching your semi’s tires by replacing both pairs of tires on each axle at the same time.
If you see white smoke coming out of your stack, it’s a sign you might have a coolant leak. When the EGR cooler develops a leak, it allows coolant to escape in the exhaust, and as the coolant vaporizes it converts to steam or white smoke.
