Excessive Heat Watch on July 11-12, 2026
Were used to it here in Washington County, but it's HOT. Stay hydrated, if going outside bring lots of water. Have a plan of where to go if power goes out.

🎆 Before You Light It... Know the Rules.

Fireworks are prohibited throughout unincorporated Washington County and on all public and federal lands.

One firework can spark a wildfire that threatens homes, businesses, wildlife, and lives.

If you're celebrating this Fourth of July:
✅ Attend a community fireworks display.
✅ Dispose of smoking materials properly.
✅ Keep water nearby when using approved outdoor cooking equipment.
✅ Report smoke or fire immediately by calling 911.

Let's celebrate safely and help keep Washington County wildfire-free.
