Did you know that 8 weeks is the standard age for any puppy to leave it's mom? Puppies should stay with their mom until 8 weeks .... because 1) They need mom's milk! 2) Puppies need to learn about their biting threshold... mom teaches them! 3) Pups need to socialize with their siblings 4) Behavior issues could occur by taking a pup away from its mom and siblings too soon.

Getting pups to 'pose' for photos is a real challenge!

This is the 3rd year that I have used Bright Iris Media for photos and she is great, but we always need to make sure I have plenty of extra hands to help out.

We are never more than a step away in case a pup disagrees with it's position ;-)
