On FRIDAY, July 24th Project 37 is excited to present the second signal flow event at B-Side Indie Music Cafe!

Signal begins in the mind. It moves through hands, and systems, and relays before landing in the body.

Signal Flow is an electronic music event series rooted in sound system culture—-bringing regional systems and the selectors who know how to run them. This event is about craft, community, and what it feels like when a room is tuned for movement.

There will be a production seminar before the show led by Moniker. Seminar doors at 4, class at 4:30pm.

This is show is ALL AGES and SOBER.

Doors open 5:30pm, music starts at 6pm.

Tickets are $10

Sound System: FUNKTION ONE

Selectors: MONIKER // HEDAWN // FRIK

Let’s meet our artists!

FRIK//

Minnesota’s FRIK moves through shadowy deep dubstep, riddim grooves, and high‑tempo DNB to create sets that breathe and evolve. His sound balances introspection with intensity. Pairing familiar classics with emerging artists, alongside original music, a FRIK set looks to build a world that feels raw, warm, and deeply underground.

Records, Moniker has a reputation for live sets featuring inventive bass-heavy sound design over psychedelic broken dance beats. Jacob Tullos, the musician behind the Moniker project, has used his platform to promote music education through workshops and other programs that empower students to express themselves through music composition.

DRED I DREAD // roots reggae

Dred I Dread, widely recognized as the “Minneapolis Reggae Legends,” is a powerful roots reggae band delivering uplifting messages of love, unity, and social justice. Blending authentic Jamaican reggae traditions with global influences, the band has built a reputation for high-energy performances and meaningful, conscious music that resonates across diverse audiences.

Formed in Minneapolis, Dred I Dread brings together an international lineup of seasoned musicians from Jamaica, New Orleans, Minnesota, and Türkiye. Their sound is both timeless and fresh—rooted in classic reggae while embracing elements of jazz, blues, and world music.

The band is led by Rawle G (vocals), whose commanding stage presence and soulful delivery anchor the group’s identity, alongside Peewee Dread (vocals/percussion), a longtime force in the Midwest reggae scene. Guitarist Serdar G, originally from Ankara, Türkiye, adds a unique global touch with influences ranging from blues to calypso and soca, helping shape the band’s signature sound.

Backing the front line is a tight, dynamic rhythm section featuring the Cole Brothers/Mindsettaz—Alex Cole on keyboards and Adam Cole on drums—alongside Paul Kammeyer on bass. Together, they bring depth and groove to every performance, creating a rich, immersive live experience.

With multiple releases, including the Mount Zion EP, and a growing presence on festival stages, Dred I Dread continues to uplift communities and spread positive vibrations wherever they perform.
