Our latest retrofit - A Premier press brake with new electrical panel, X axis servo and a Cybelec CybTouch 8 control system
Our latest project - Designing and building a control system for a coil slitting line running at 350 ft/min
The video shows the machine slitting 0.020" thick copper into strips.
The original DC drives were replaced with AC motors & drives and ultrasonic sensors were used to maintain the coil loops. Speed matching of the coils is achieved by utilizing real time laser sensors measuring the diameters of the coils as the material is pulled through the slitting station
