This is known as the “National Moment of Remembrance”. The pause is intended to reflect on the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces and others who have died as a result of their service to the nation.

🇺🇸In St. Augustine, Florida, Memorial Day 2025 will be observed on Monday, May 26th, 2025, with a ceremony at the St. Augustine National Cemetery from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event is presented by the Ancient City Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America and the Veterans Council of St. Augustine. General Craig McKinley, former Chief of the National Guard Bureau, will be the keynote speaker.
