Tarpon! From a humble piece of scrap plywood and scrap metal to this big fishy. Roughly 40"x20". Whatcha think?

Mahi mahi after a few flying fish. The mahi is spalted hickory and the flying fish were cut out of so small scraps of plywood. The fins were cut out of a very rough sheet of 1/4" thick diamond plate aluminium. Mounted on reclaimed fence planks. This was a commission for a special occasion. The last puncture is off it hanging in it's new home. Whatcha think?

I found a 2x4x8, cut it into small pieces and laminated them together to create a whale. Well, having a spinal cord injury makes things interesting and while trying to turn this piece to carve it tumbled out of my grip and the tail snapped off. It'll get glued back together but I guess the universe was telling me it was time to take a break.

Oyster cut out of a piece of dimensional pine. The knot gave me the idea. Roughly 17"x 11". Whatcha think?
