Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph the 4th annual Coal River Songwriters Festival here in town. It was six amazing nights of local music, and I can’t think of a better group of people to donate my time to. Six nights in six different venues, with different stage set ups, lighting, and artists. It was a fun challenge to do something different, and I wanted to share a few of my favorite captures here and also plug the festival and our local music scene. A big thanks to Chris Sutton for inviting me to participate, as well as all of the amazing musicians who came and played and gave it their all.

It was a beautiful evening of remembrance last night at the annual Cunningham Memorial Cemetery lighting of the luminaries. I look forward to this night every year 💛 ❤️
