On Tuesday, we proudly celebrated the conclusion of CAN Council's 10-week Parenting Café, a meaningful program dedicated to supporting and empowering families in our community.

Throughout the series, participants engaged in valuable discussions, built connections, and gained practical resources to strengthen their parenting journey. To wrap up the program, they welcomed a guest speaker from United Bay Credit Union, who shared important financial literacy tips and strategies to help families build a strong financial foundation.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with CAN Council in hosting this impactful program. Collaborations like these allow us to bring meaningful education, support, and resources to our community, and we appreciate CAN Council's commitment to strengthening families.

If you're interested in participating in an upcoming Parenting Café, be sure to check out the flyer below for registration information. We look forward to partnering with CAN Council again and continuing to provide opportunities that make a positive difference in the lives of local families.

Last week was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

The One Week, One Street event brought together so many incredible community members, churches, organizations, volunteers, and partners—all united by one common goal: serving our neighbors and making a positive difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire One Week One Street team for the countless hours of planning, preparation, and behind-the-scenes work that made this event such a success. Your vision, dedication, and commitment created an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and demonstrate the true power of community.

When we choose collaboration over competition and service over self, amazing things happen. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can continue building a community where everyone belongs and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Here's to continuing the momentum and making an even greater impact—one street, one neighborhood, and one life at a time. ❤️

The First Ward Community Service B.E.S.T. Program participants didn't let the summer heat slow them down! ☀️💪 (Turns out the sun was working overtime too! 😅)

They've been worked hard repairing a wheelchair ramp for a neighbor, showing what teamwork, compassion, and service are all about. With plenty of water, hydration breaks, and rotating in and out of the heat, they stayed safe while making a real difference.

We're proud of these amazing young leaders for proving that even on the hottest days, helping others is always worth it. ❤️
