What a fantastic story about two brothers who both graduated from UC Davis programs last month. Andrew Mokski graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and older brother Matt Mokski graduated from the Redwood SEED Scholars program.
Redwood SEED Scholars is a four-year, inclusive, on-campus college program for students with intellectual disabilities at UC Davis. It's a first in California and the MIND Institute is proud to support the program. Way to go, Andrew and Matt!

This virtual-only event is Friday, July 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The registration deadline is July 17.
You’ll hear the latest research on digital tools and supports, plus practical insights from autistic self-advocates, a clinical psychologist and a police detective on topics like inclusion, dating, online safety and independence.

Join the UC Davis MIND Institute for ECHO: Parent-Mediated Intervention Training, a free virtual learning series designed for Spanish-speaking families and providers.
Project ECHO is an interactive learning model that connects families, community providers, and experts to share evidence-based practices, practical strategies and resources that improve care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Topics include:
• Why Parent Coaching Works
• Promoting Joint Attention
• Social Communication Development
• Behavior and Emotional Regulation
• Sensory Processing
Each session features a brief educational presentation followed by an interactive discussion where participants can learn from experts and one another.
Please note that all sessions are conducted entirely in Spanish.
Dates: August 13 – December 10, 2026
