Screen printing (also known as silk- screening) is the process in which ink is pushed through a mesh screen that is mounted in a frame and onto a porous surface like paper or fabric. In this two-day workshop, you will learn the basics of emulsion screen printing, from printing positives to exposing screens, and finally pulling a small edition of your own custom prints. I’m bubbling with excitement just thinking of all the printmakers & zinesters together! I’m grateful to see this come to fruition & that I get to organize another print & zine fair! It’s all voluntary yet this feels vital to our community.

buttons & like items.
What are zines?! They are DIY book-like + self-published works that can feature art, information, poetry & more! It's often a space for marginalized folks to share their stories & experiences with others.
