Opulent Ridez Mobile Auto Spa is Sacramento’s premier mobile auto detailing service. Every day is a new adventure providing a change of scenery and work environment on a day to day basis.

Our Mobile Detail Technicians are responsible for providing interior and exterior detail services to vehicles and interacting in a friendly, positive, and professional manner with our customers throughout the Greater Sacramento area.

Customer Service is our FOCUS:

The Detailing Technician will be expected to engage with our clients in a professional, friendly manner in person, via telephone, and/or via text message. Detail Technician MUST be comfortable recommending additional services to clients (up-selling when appropriate). Technician must also be comfortable with engaging with potential clients who may approach them while on the jobsite.

Required Experience (Note: Training for this position is available, however preference will be given to candidates with the following levels of experience):

1. 1+ years of professional interior and exterior auto detailing (including washing, waxing, polishing, and prepping exterior surfaces of vehicle, extracting interior upholstery and carpets, cleaning interior.)
2. 1+ years of professional experience polishing vehicle paint utilizing a DA polisher
3. 1+ years of experience interacting with customers (in person, in writing, and via telephone)

Preferred Experience:
1. 3+ Years of professional experience in all of the above mentioned areas AND:
2. 3+ Years of professional experience doing 1 and 2 stage paint correction
3. 3+ Years professional experience applying ceramic coatings to vehicles

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Must speak English fluently
2. Must be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner and attentively listen to their needs.
3. Must be able to review the customer’s vehicle and set expectations based on the current condition of the vehicle.
4. Must have knowledge and understanding of basic detailing methods and detailing chemicals and their appropriate applications.
5. Must be able to follow a check-list and not deviate from company procedures.

Other Requirements:
1. Must have a clean driving record
2. Must be physically able to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be physically able to crouch, bend, and stoop frequently. Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Must be able to perform precise movements with fingers, hands, and arms.
3. Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends (schedule may vary from week to week).
4. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

Pay Rate: Compensation follows a "Pay for Performance" model in which the detail technician receives a percentage of the job revenue (on average, this equates to between $25 and $30 per hour of work with the potential to earn more as efficiency increases). Tips are split evenly between technicians for each job.

There is a salary floor of $18.00 per hour which is the guaranteed MINIMUM that you will be paid. (Our compensation structure will be explained in further detail during the interview process)

Note: There is a 6 month probationary period.
