3 Indicators you might have black widows in your home:
-Strong, thick and irregular patterned cobwebs around dark areas. They typically stay low and like dark low traffic areas like the garage or shed.
-Wood piles. If you’ve got wood piles around your home you haven’t touched all season, be cautious. They typically invade these areas.
-High insect activity can also be a indicator for black widows. If you see a lot of ground pest like beetles, ants and roaches, chances are you’ve got black widows too because your home is an excellent hunting ground!
What we have here is a Black Widow! 😱
Though their bites are rarely fatal, they still can leave their victims with swelling, muscle stiffness and flu like symptoms for up to a week. Most black widow bites are accidental due to people accidentally brushing against them while searching through the garage, wood piles or a dark place! It’s best to clear them out
