🏛️ New Art Case Installation at Clara’s Tunnel! 📚

The Rutherford Arts Council is proud to present our newest display, now on view through the end of July, featuring William “Billy” Neumann.

Billy is a NYC/NJ commercial photographer, Certified Historic Preservationist, and Rutherford’s Borough Historian. His passion for preserving our town’s rich history has resulted in one of the most extensive visual archives of Rutherford’s past and present. In this month’s display, he shares the stories behind several of Rutherford’s most significant historic structures, offering a fascinating glimpse into the places that have shaped our community.

Billy is also the author of two of the most comprehensive and beloved books on Rutherford’s history and leads the popular Facebook communities I Grew Up in Rutherford and You Know You Are From Rutherford, NJ If…, along with several other groups dedicated to preserving the borough’s heritage and collective memory. A lifelong Rutherford resident, he lives in his family’s 1870s farmhouse, keeps bees, produces local honey, and proudly serves as Rutherford’s Borough Historian.

As the community comes together for an evening of delicious food, live music, shopping, and fun, we invite you to take a stroll down Park Avenue and stop by our booths.
