🐾 Crystal Update – The Little Victories Are Adding Up! 🐾

Today brought some of the best news we've had since Crystal came into rescue! ❤️

She is making slow but meaningful progress, and we're so proud of her.

💜 Crystal is much more relaxed today.
💜 She's starting to seek out her foster mom for comfort.
💜 She follows her foster mom around and even comes when she's called.
💜 She's been standing next to her and leaning against her for reassurance—a huge sign that trust is beginning to grow.

Eating is still a work in progress, but we've found a routine that seems to help. Crystal still prefers to be hand-fed at first while she's outside, but once she gets started, she'll continue eating on her own. We'll gladly take that as a win!

These may seem like small milestones, but for a dog who recently lost everything she knew, spent time in a stressful shelter, battling an upper respiratory infection, and came into rescue completely shut down, they mean the world.

This is exactly why we say healing takes time. Every dog moves at their own pace, and Crystal is showing us that with patience, consistency, and love, trust can begin to replace fear.
