We’re excited to officially announce that in addition to our signature mobile bar trailer, we are now offering a Mobile Pop-Up Bar option! 🍸🤍

Our new pop-up bar setup is perfect for events where a trailer may not be the best fit and can be set up indoors or outdoors, giving you even more flexibility for your wedding, corporate event, private party, shower, or celebration.

And speaking of going wherever the party is... 🚗💨

This weekend, Backyard Bar-bie was all the way in Alabama serving a beautiful wedding! While we primarily serve Virginia and North Carolina, this trip was a reminder that distance doesn't stop us from helping create memorable experiences. If you want Backyard Bar-bie at your event, we'll do everything we can to make it happen!

✨ Meet the Owners Behind Backyard Bar-bie

Hi friends!

I’m Ashtyn — by day, I work as a Correctional Treatment Specialist at an adult detention center, where I create programs and re-entry plans to help individuals rebuild their lives. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Service Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from Elon University, and I’ll be graduating this May 2026 with my Master’s in Public Affairs from UNC Greensboro 🎓

I’m deeply passionate about helping others, especially those from marginalized communities, and I truly believe in leading with kindness, compassion, and love. I’m originally from Warrenton, VA and now call Burlington, NC home.

And I’m Telvis — a police officer, Marine Corps veteran 🇺🇸, plant enthusiast 🌿, and a proud Danville, VA native. I value hard work, discipline, and showing up for my family and community every day.

Together, we’re partners in life and in business. We love to travel ✈️, spend time with our three beautiful kids, enjoy beach days 🌊☀️, and make memories with our family every chance we get.

Backyard Bar-bie was created from our love of bringing people together, celebrating life’s moments, and adding a little extra sparkle to every event 🍹💖
