FIELD TRIP TO RAC!!! Time for our annual visits by 3rd grade and kindergarten students from Rowayton Elementary School – here’s some fun action shots of kids. They toured the gallery, played I-Spy and sketched their favorite artwork in the gallery, all organized by Education Director Suzy Aubrey. 🙂

JOIN US FOR PLEIN AIR PAINTING at Sheffield Island on Saturday, June 13 from 10 am to 5 pm – The Norwalk Seaport Association has graciously invited members and friends of RAC for a special trip just a mile off the shores of Rowayton and home to a beautifully preserved historic lighthouse. The island offers breathtaking coastal scenery, sweeping views, and plenty of artistic inspiration. Its 50-acre preserve features a beautifully preserved lighthouse, picnic tables, a pavilion with restrooms and countless picturesque scenes perfect for painting, sketching, or simply soaking in the beauty of the day. Be aware that you’ll have to travel by ferry to get there (the ride is about 45 minutes). FREE but registration is required, see link here!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR! Congrats to RAC Instructor Felicia Feldman who is now engaged to Tim Coupe (here's the happy couple right outside the gallery) with a wedding planned later this summer. The two met when he took her Thursday night painting class just over a year ago in our studio! :)
