China is tightening its China Compulsory Certification (CCC) program, introducing stricter conformity assessment requirements for multiple product categories.
Key changes include the return of mandatory CCC certification for five categories for 16 types of products, new QR code marking requirements for certain high-risk products, and updated technical standards for products such as toys, portable power banks, and electric bicycles.
For manufacturers selling products into China, these updates could impact certification timelines, testing strategies, labeling, and overall market access.
