B. Valentine

I’m incredibly grateful to the Austin Live Music Fund of Austin Arts, Culture, Music & Entertainment Cultural Arts Division Austin for supporting this next chapter of my music.
This grant has given me the opportunity to create the album I’ve been building toward for years—and, more importantly, to build the B. Valentine music experience I’ve been dreaming about.
When I moved to Austin, I wasn’t just looking for a new city—I was finding my voice.
After years of singing with incredible artists, leading The Rebirth, writing songs, arranging vocals, and learning from so many musical experiences, I found myself asking, What do I want people to feel when they experience my music?
The answer wasn’t a genre. It was a feeling.
I want to create music that makes people move. Music that brings people together. Music that makes you sing louder, clap harder, and leave feeling lighter than when you walked in.
I’m taking everything I’ve loved along the way—soul, funk, rock, gospel, storytelling, and all the lessons I’ve learned from every stage I’ve stood on—and pouring it into something that finally feels like me.
And I get to create it with a world-class drummer, producer, and creative partner who just happens to live under the same roof. 💕 Thanks, Eric Valentine!
We can’t wait to share this music with you.
Because sometimes the best way forward is to MOVE.
Love,
B. Valentine 💕

Happy birthday, brother!
Chantel Deniese and I couldn't resist a little Prince. A tribute to the Purple One. Thanks to the Texas Connection (Eric Valentine & Glenn Piper) for making this track.
Y’all should be proud of me! I am!
I had no unmated socks left after doing laundry. This never happens. Documenting this moment because maybe it’s a sign that more things will come together soon.
Maybe the washing machine is tired of eating my socks 🧦
Sometimes you just have to let the music move you. This is pure joy in motion. RIH Prince 💜.
Shoutout to Eric Valentine and Glenn Piper —the Texas Connection—for creating the track behind our Prince moment. 🎶
