Attn.: NY SCD Elks Riders,

In honor of Memorial Day, please consider joining Pedro Rosa and others in the Rotterdam Memorial Day Parade, Thursday, May 21. If you want to meet at Rotterdam Elks Lodge #2157 by 5:00/5:15 PM, and follow the bus over to Mohonasen High School, or you can meet them in the driveway at the school. They will leave the Lodge promptly at 5:30 PM. The Parade will start at the high school and end at the Rotterdam Town Hall.

Secondly, Pedro would like to have a brief meeting, Thursday, June 4, 2026, 6:00 PM. Control Tower Ice Cream Place, Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham. (Behind the airport) We will meet at the back tables. The purpose is to plan the next meetings and rides.

To all veterans, we thank you for your service. On Memorial Day, we remember, “Freedom isn’t free. This weekend we remember and thank those who paid the ULTIMATE price for our Liberty.”

REMINDER: out next meeting is this Tuesday, 4/14/26. We will eat at the SCD Veterans Fundraiser dinner first and meet after, at approximately 6:00 pm. PLEASE RSVP in the comments if you will be attending. We need to know how many seats will be needing, and how much food. Please indicate if you are planning to eat at the dinner. Our next meeting will take place Tuesday, April 14, 6:30 PM, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge. The SCD Veterans Service Committee will be providing a Roast Beef Dinner for $17.00 per person. See the attached flyer for details.
