Over 90% of child safety seats are not used properly, putting infants, toddlers and small children at risk of being seriously injured or killed in a traffic crash. Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to check child safety seats, correct errors and instruct parents and caregivers how to use and install their child safety seats correctly. There is no fee for this service.

With warmer weather arriving, the Rotterdam Police Department would like to remind everyone to stay safe while enjoying the outdoors. Whether you’re riding through the neighborhood or commuting around town, practicing safe biking habits helps keep everyone safe. Wear your helmet, stay visible, follow traffic laws, and always ride responsibly.
