I am so on cloud 9! My son Alex participated this past weekend as a camp group counselor for kids who have lost a parent. His group of 8 kids were aged 8-9 and he left a positive impression on them and the counseling staff had very high praise for Alex's work with building skills and team building coordinating efforts.
His career goal is to be an adolescent child therapist and help kids learn strategies to deal with their life struggles. Judging by his recap Sunday night of some things he accomplished without compromising the confidentiality protocol, it sounds like he has definitely found his mission in life.
