At Rustic Woods, one of our favorite design elements started as a surprise. While excavating the backyard, we uncovered a massive rock. Instead of removing it, we embraced it. We redesigned around it, incorporated it into the landscaping, and it became one of the most unique features of the property. A true “happy accident.”

Progress doesn’t always look exciting, but this is where the transformation really happens.

Before the finishes, paint, and staging, there’s a lot of work behind the walls. Permits, inspections, plumbing, electrical, insulation... every step has to be completed and approved before moving on to the next phase.

It’s a process, but doing it the right way is what turns a distressed property into a beautiful home that’s built to last.

WE HAVE WALLS! Progress is happening at our East Sacramento project! 🏡

A few months ago, this house was nothing but studs, plumbing, and electrical. Now we’re finally seeing the vision come together.

One upgrade we’re especially excited about is the imperfect smooth wall texture throughout the home. It’s a small detail, but details matter, and we think the East Sac buyer is going to appreciate the more custom, high-end feel.

We’re also finalizing cabinets and putting the finishing touches on the layout. One of the design choices we’re loving is skipping upper cabinets in the kitchen to let the large window become the focal point and keep the space feeling bright and open.

The bathroom was completely reconfigured to create a more functional layout and add something we think many buyers in this price point will want a tub. Sometimes it’s not about making a space bigger, it’s about making it work better.

Every decision in this house is being made with the future homeowner in mind, and we’re excited to keep sharing the progress along the way.
