✨Honoring a Decade of Leadership: Sara Morley LaCroix✨

Please join us as we congratulate Sara on her 10 years of service to the RCCF Board of Trustees!

At our Board Reunion & Leadership Celebration, we had the privilege of honoring Sara as she concluded a decade of dedicated service to the Roscommon County Community Foundation. Throughout her years as Board Secretary, Vice President, and Board President, she has helped guide the Foundation through important seasons of growth while serving with wisdom, integrity, and heart.

As Executive Director Suzanne Luck shared during the celebration:

"What stands out most about Sara is how she shows up. She listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and brings enthusiasm, preparation, and genuine respect for both people and process. Her leadership helped guide the Foundation through important moments of growth and change."

During her farewell remarks, Sara reflected on the Foundation's beginnings—a story that is deeply woven into her own family's history.

"At its core, a community foundation is about love—love for a place, love for its people, and love for the future we want to build together. It is love in action, and a promise to be here For Good. For Ever. For Everyone."

Nearly 29 years ago, Sara's father, Rob Morley, and the Morley Family Foundation helped provide the seed funding that launched the Roscommon County Community Foundation. What began as an act of generosity has grown into an organization that has invested millions of dollars into scholarships, nonprofits, and community initiatives across Roscommon County.

Sara's leadership has been a beautiful continuation of that legacy.

Sara reflected on her last year and said, "Serving as Board President has been one of the greatest honors of my life. But leadership is about preparing an organization for what comes next—and we are ready."

Thank you, Sara, for your decade of unwavering commitment, thoughtful leadership, and genuine love for this community.

Your legacy will continue to be felt in every scholarship awarded, every nonprofit strengthened, every grant invested, and every life changed.
