We know life happens — kids get sick, schedules change, emergencies come up, and sometimes appointments need to be canceled. We truly understand that.

That said, missed appointments and late cancellations have a real impact on a small medical office.

When a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, that time cannot be offered to another child or family who may be waiting to be seen. It also affects our providers, staff, and the flow of care for the entire day. As a small practice, we work hard to keep access available and appointment times meaningful.

As a reminder, our office no-show policy is:

After 3 no-shows, a patient/family may be subject to discharge from the practice.

No-shows may also be subject to a $35 fee.

In some cases, families with a history of missed appointments may be asked to schedule visits separately rather than booking multiple family members at the same time. This helps us protect appointment availability for all families while still allowing patients to receive care.

We never make these decisions to be unkind. These policies are in place so we can continue providing timely, reliable care to as many patients as possible.

We appreciate the many families who call ahead, cancel when needed, and help us keep our schedule running smoothly.

📣 Practice Update

At this time, Generations Family Health NPs, PLLC is not accepting new patients over the age of 30.

We are continuing to accept new pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients as availability allows.

Please also note that Nicole is not accepting any new patients at this time.

We kindly ask that patients keep scheduled appointments or call ahead if they need to cancel or reschedule.

When appointments are missed without notice, it creates openings that could have been offered to other patients waiting to be seen. Because our schedule is often full, no-shows make it harder for us to provide timely care to everyone who needs it.
