STORY TIME - THE PASTURES ARE WIDE OPEN!
This past week we made a big change here at the farm. 💚
We opened all five cross-fenced pastures, unlocked every gate, and fully integrated our 28 horses, donkeys, and mule into one large open-pasture concept. Instead of separate sections, the herd now has the freedom to roam, choose their space, and move naturally across the farm.
To support the transition, we placed hay huts strategically throughout the property to encourage movement and natural grazing patterns. The result?
✨ Constant motion
✨ Healthy grazing
✨ And the absolute joy of watching new friendships form organically
They are covering the full 55 acres, moving from pasture to pasture, grazing, resting, and interacting in ways that feel incredibly natural and peaceful. The herd truly LOVES this new format.
This change required a radical shift in our feeding process. One week in, we are beyond proud to say the herd is doing amazing.
Watching them choose their own space, companions, and rhythm has been nothing short of beautiful. This is why we do what we do. 🐴🫏💚
