at 394 Hangar Road, providing food, water, power, bedding and

medical services. Oneida County is also in the process of setting

up temporary offices for essential services in the city while

moving non-essential services to Utica.

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente said on Thursday

they will maintain a presence in Rome. It’s going to

be a little bit smaller because of space limitations.

the Essential offices and services include mental health

treatment, social services, SNAP, public assistance and more.

Picente said some temporary offices have been set up on the

Griffiss Business and Technology Park — including at the Red

Cross shelter — and the county is looking into setting up

trailers in downtown to be more accessible.

Non-essential services include the courts and the

Department of Motor Vehicles, those services have temporarily located to Utica.

New York State has sent a mobile financial services van to

Freedom Plaza on Erie Boulevard West to help residents fill
