In observance of Veterans Day, I would like to recognize these two young men who are currently serving our country. Lance Corporal Nate Smith of the U.S. Marines is currently stationed at Camp Hansen Okinawa in Japan. AD3 Jackson Wood of the U.S. Navy is currently stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia. We are proud to call you Romans.

Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve our country. And thank you to those who exercised their right to vote on Tuesday.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support, advice, votes, and donations over the past 10 weeks. I cannot wait to continue to serve this city that I love. Let’s get to work!

Today the Land Bank Authority and city staff took a bus tour to visit current and proposed projects. Throughout my 6 years as a member of the LBA, we have been working hard to return properties to the tax rolls and partnering with local builders to provide affordable housing.

It’s the last week for early voting, vote Harry Brock for Rome City Commission!

Enjoyed spending a Saturday night shift with PFC Coleman White. I was very impressed by his patience, professionalism and empathy. PFC White has served our community for 10 years, and we’re better off for it.

Thank you to our Rome City Police for serving with integrity and excellence and keeping our community safe.

We loved working with Rome for the Rescues this year to highlight our sweet rescue pup, Lola. We are so fortunate to live in a community with great resources and passionate people. As Sean of the South fans, we’re looking forward to his return to Rome, raising money for local animal welfare organizations.
