The Floyd County Board of Commissioners is investing in programs that help people build healthier, more stable futures.

At their July 14 meeting, the Board approved more than $576,000 in federal grant funding to support local accountability court programs.

The funding includes:

• $345,885 for the Adult Drug Court
• $230,301 for the Mental Health Court

Required local matching funds will be provided through Drug Abuse Treatment and Education funds.

These programs connect eligible participants with treatment, support, and accountability while helping strengthen our community.
