Materials Science and Engineering

The MSE Department wrapped up a fun giving challenge to support the Phelps County Dream Center! 🎉 Students and faculty from Metallurgical Engineering faced off against Ceramic and Semiconductor Engineering to see who could collect the most canned goods and donations.

Metallurgical Engineering won, which meant a ceramic professor and student got pied in the face!

Congratulations to Carson A. Nuernberger and Ashton W. Ventura on receiving the 2025-2026 Steel Intern Scholarship from AIST Foundation! Both completed internships at Nucor Steel-Berkeley in Huger, South Carolina.
