Heat Advisory:

Due to the excessive heat warning, we will be taking breaks at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM today to help everyone stay safe. Please remember to stay hydrated, take advantage of the shade, and watch for signs of heat-related illness.

FUN POOL FACT: Did you know that sunscreen, lotions, and other skin care products can affect your pool's water quality? When you swim, oils, emulsifiers, alcohols, and other ingredients from these products wash into the water. These substances react with free chlorine, forming compounds called chloramines. Chloramines are much less effective at sanitizing the pool than free chlorine and are also responsible for the strong "chlorine smell," along with the eye and nose irritation many swimmers experience.

Wearing sunscreen is IMPORTANT please don't skip it!!!! The best way to help protect both your skin and our pool water is to take a quick shower before getting in.

Due to the Heat Advisory in effect today, we will be conducting safety breaks at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to help keep both our guests and staff safe.

During these breaks, you may notice our lifeguards entering the water to cool off and recover from the heat. These brief breaks help ensure our staff can continue providing the highest level of safety throughout the day.
