New analysis from Urban3, LLC shared as part of the Growing Home NWA regional growth strategy, shows that downtown areas generate more value for city budgets than spread-out development.
Mixed-use areas tend to generate more revenue per acre and allow infrastructure to serve more people in a smaller area, making it easier for cities to fund services over time.
This isn’t about one housing type. It’s about building patterns that give cities a better return on public investment.
