In a word… “Rainy”.

➡️ Surface chart shows the front’s position along I40 Monday morning.

Additional showers are likely to fester on the boundary today.

As weak energy overspreads the front combined with the highest sun angle of the year, look for more scattered storms in the afternoon.

Another, heavier, round of rain is set for Wednesday.

Two Rounds of Rain...

1. The showers moving into Arkansas now are just shows with no big severe weather risk.

2. Later tonight, probably after 10pm, another line of storms arrives... **this one is the one to watch for severe weather** damaging winds are highest threat, lower tornado and hail risk.

☔️ The rain showers will fill in during the day Thursday. Widespread severe weather is unlikely.

The highest rain chances will be across the Ozarks near the Arkansas/Missouri line.

More rain is likely this weekend.
