Rockwall Breakfast Rotary

We were glad to have Kiel Pankonien from Ephesians Pro Wrestling join us at the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club this morning.

Kiel talked about EPW’s impressive growth and success, and explained how the organization uses professional wrestling to share a positive message and make a difference. He also updated us on EPW’s weekly TV show, EPW Saturday Night Battle Ground, which airs every Saturday at 5:00 PM Central on Abundant TV, a Christian streaming network.

We appreciate Kiel for sharing his story, his mission, and the exciting future of Ephesians Pro Wrestling with us. Thank you for an engaging and inspiring presentation.

Congratulations to our Past President, John Adams, on being recognized for his 4th Paul Harris Fellow!

The Paul Harris Fellow is among Rotary’s highest honors, named for founder Paul Harris. It recognizes Rotarians and community members who exemplify Rotary’s mission through service and charitable giving. Each additional $1,000 contributed to The Rotary Foundation earns a new Paul Harris Fellow level. The Foundation supports global projects in education, clean water, disease prevention, peacebuilding, and economic development.

John’s dedication to service within our club and the Rockwall community embodies the spirit of Rotary. His commitment to the Stars and Stripes Flag Program, community initiatives, and supporting others has made a lasting impact. Congratulations, John, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for your continued service above self.

This week, we were honored to welcome Maliyah Hudson to our Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club meeting as she shared her experience at Camp RYLA.

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is designed to help young leaders build confidence, strengthen communication skills, develop teamwork, and form lasting friendships. Maliyah gave us a firsthand look at how the program impacted her and the lessons she will carry forward.

We are proud to have sponsored four outstanding students to attend Camp RYLA this year: Maliyah Hudson, Jacob Chapa, Jaxson Lapp, and Sierra Fathke. Investing in young leaders is one of the most meaningful ways Rotary serves our community, and we look forward to seeing what these students accomplish in the future.
