SVMS Spring Concert and Art Exhibition is May 20th!
Come one, come all, to hear this year end musical extravaganza! Our talented musicians will be playing 7-8p in the main gym! In addition, our Eagle Artists-in-Residence will be displaying their beautiful artworks from 6-6:45p.

Attention 8th Graders- Ticket Sales start Thursday, May 21
Dance and Sunsplash ticket sales for qualifying students are before school and during lunch May 21-28. Permission slips must be completed before tickets will be sold.

Promotion Dance
Monday, June 1 | 5:30–7:00 p.m. | Multipurpose Room
Cost: $10
Payable by cash, check or through our SVMS web store. One combined check for both dance and Sunsplash events is acceptable. Tickets will be sold at the Attendance Window before school and during both lunches May 21–28. Absolutely no sales at the door.

Sunsplash Field Trip
Tuesday, June 2
Cost: $45 (includes bus, admission, lunch)
Payable by cash, check or through our SVMS web store.
Tickets will be sold at the Attendance Window before school and during both lunches May 21–28 (non-refundable). Tickets WILL NOT be sold after lunch on May 28.

Sunsplash wristbands are valid on June 2, 2026 ONLY and are non-refundable. (Admission tickets for this event may not be purchased separately at Sunsplash; season passes are not valid on this date).
If not attending, students must attend school!
Those attending still come to school at 8a.

Library News
Return all of your Books/Textbooks and clear your library account by Friday. May 22nd to win an ice pop!!!

Attention 8th Graders:
Dance and SunSplash ticket sales are before school and during lunch May 21-28. Eligibility requirements and other important info will be listed on the merit page in Schoology.
You need 360 merits overall for the whole school year to qualify for Sunsplash and the Promotion Dance.
You must maintain 90 merits in the 4th quarter.
Merit Retrieval Contracts are available in Student Services and are due on May 20, at the end of the day. Late forms will NOT be accepted.
Your GPA has to be 2.0 or higher
You can only have one NM in second semester
Your attendance for the school year must be 85% or better

4th Quarter High Flyers Celebrated on Mon. May 11th
Each quarter, teachers and administrators get together and select students to be rewarded as quarterly High Flyers. These are students who continually follow our Eagle A.I.M. code by acting with Accountability, Integrity, and Mindfulness.

Our 4th Quarter High Flyers are: Julian Ashton, Evi Lopez, Leila Pagliai, Owen Petty, Alyssa Padilla, William Gillan, Leeah Messmore, Ysak Draculan, Vayda Davis, Brielle Ratajczak, Anaya Jones, KK Moore, Jacob Compian, Eden Owen, Lucero Gonzalez Hernandez, Fabi Wo Ching Martinez, Belle Garcia, Siddharth Sehra, Lissie Wolf-Stahl, Victoria Reyes, Jaxson Conrad, Troy Truong, Anna Dihalevych, Mariia Haiovyk, Dempsey Gottschalk, Kendra Moore, Blake Ching, Aubrey Kiel, and Lara Da Costa!

These students have worked their eagle tail feathers off in and out of the classroom, and will be celebrated during a catered DOUBLE lunch on Monday, May 11th. Way to go, Eagles!!
