"President Donald Trump said Thursday he will nominate Jay Clayton, the Manhattan U.S attorney, to be the next director of national intelligence."

"In a post to social media, Trump urged Congress to confirm Clayton “as soon as possible.”"

"Clayton’s nomination comes after Trump tapped housing official Bill Pulte to serve in the role in an acting capacity, triggering an uproar on Capitol Hill. Pulte is best known for pushing mortgage fraud accusations against Trump’s political foes."

So here we go again with a nominee who has no experience in dealing with National Intelligence, just at a time when we need very high quality and complete intelligence information relative to the Lying King's stupid war with Iran.

And the work of the Director of National Intelligence is critical to the overall mission, which is to coordinate and rapidly and effectively share intelligence information from the 18 member organizations and agencies who deal with different aspects of national intelligence.

This appointment is yet another confirmation that the Lying King's Cabinet officers are inexperienced, incompetent and clueless, and our national security is now in a position of severe risk.

It is time for Congress to take immediate action to correct this situation, starting with the impeachment, conviction and removal of Trump and his Cabinet officers.

"Consumer prices rose at a faster rate for a third-straight month in May, to 4.2 percent annually, as the energy shock put more pressure on the U.S. economy."

"The Consumer Price Index report rose 4.2 percent in May from a year earlier, new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed on Wednesday. That is up from a 2.4 percent annual increase before the conflict in the Middle East started in February and is the fastest pace since April 2023. Over the course of the month, overall prices jumped 0.5 percent."

This was the highest pace of inflation, measured on a 12-month basis, since April of 2023.

And now it appears that the Lying King Trump is about to escalate his stupid war with Iran with more attacks, and his incompetent bully boy tactics have not impressed the Iranian negotiators.

We need immediate action by Congress to end the Lying King's war with Iran. Bring our Naval vessels and our troops home, and put the ball in Iran's court to open the Strait of Hormuz.

And we also need immediate action by Congress to impeach, convict and remove Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and to stop his heinous, sexist, white supremacist, Christian nationalist, illegal actions.

Now that the primary election results are 90% completed, we know who the two candidates for California Governor will be in November. Katie Porter did her best and ran a solid campaign and her statement below is spot on.

Californians deserve a governor who will fight for our values and bring down costs, not bend the knee to MAGA extremism that will take our state backwards. The first amendment to our U.S. Constitution states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

But right now, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is restricting the freedom of religion for the members of our U.S. military forces.

"On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Nick Mordowanec of Military dot com reported that under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the Department of Defense had removed about 180 faith traditions from its number of recognized religious faiths and belief systems. As John Ismay, Alexandra E. Petri, and Aimee Ortiz of the New York Times note, of the 31 religions still recognized by the Defense Department, 22 of them are Christian denominations."

"Left off the new list of Christian faiths was the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, whose members are commonly known as Mormons."

"MAGA has worked to impose the ideology of evangelical religion on America. In the military, Mordowanec notes, Hegseth has pushed Christian theocracy through extremist Christian-based prayers services with a Christian nationalist preacher who has said women’s suffrage was a bad idea and has defended slavery, has described Trump’s war on Iran as a holy war. Michelle Boorstein and Sammy Westfall of the Washington Post add that Hegseth has urged chaplains to focus on scripture rather than psychology and has said those who disagree with him are God’s enemies."

Repeat: Pete Hegseth "has said that those who disagree with him are God's enemies." Ladies and gentlemen, this is fascism right in your face. The brave women and men of our military forces have fought in many wars to preserve, protect and defend our Bill of Rights including the freedom of religion, and they must be allowed to worship whatever religious faith they may choose, and Pete Hegseth has no authority to tell them otherwise.

We must unite to immediately demand the full restoration of freedom of religion for all of our military service members with no restrictions whatsoever. And we must also demand the immediate impeachment, conviction and removal of Pete Hegseth for his illegal and unconstitutional acts. He must not be allowed to restrict the freedom of religion for our military service members and their full rights to freedom of religion must be restored immediately.

Each day over half of all Americans are engaged in trying to figure out how to cover their daily expenses for food, gas, rent, child care, health care, car payments, etc., and they do not have the luxury of getting a "survival loan" whenever they need one.

The U.S. Congress, on the other hand, can borrow whatever funds it may need to cover its expenses at any time, and one of the biggest loan sources is the Social Security Trust Fund. At present, the Congress owes the Social Security Trust Fund approximately $2.76 trillion. So the $50 billion to $100 billion the Lying King has spent so far on his stupid war with Iran, which was not budgeted in the Defense Department budget for this fiscal year, is being borrowed by Congress.

And virtually all of these Congressional borrowing decisions over many decades have been authorized by BIPARTISAN VOTES in Congress, so both Democrats and Republicans are to blame.

The Trump Republicans, however, are constantly harping and complaining about the size of our National Debt, but they somehow never discuss paying off the $2.26 trillion the federal government owes to the Social Security Trust Fund.

It is time for Congress to clean up its act, and to face the hard realities that over 50% of Americans face every day. We need to elect fiscally responsible Democrats and Independents to the House and Senate in November to get our economic system in order, because the Trump lap dogs in Congress will never have the courage to impeach, convict and remove the Lying King, and that must be step one in our economic recovery process.

The Lying King was on the defensive from the first question to the last question because he really has no clue what he is talking about, so he becomes very angry and attacks Ms. Welker, who is just doing her job as a reporter.

And when she asks him about the primary elections, he retreats into his big bucket of lies about the 2020 election and he argues and repeats that his lies about the June 2nd primary elections in California. And yes, the whole process in California takes time, because vote-by-mail signatures are checked very carefully as are voter registrations. In the end, however, the 58 county clerks in California and their staff members report election results that are very accurate and virtually error free.

And the bottom line here is that the Lying King knows that the Democrats and Independents are winning all across the nation and he simply can't handle that reality. He is so narcissistic and paranoid that when the so-called Republican candidates lose he can't handle it so he rants and yells and lies even more.

The Lying King is clearly psychologically, mentally and emotionally very unstable, and he is a clear and present danger to our nation and to all of the American people, and this interview is a powerful example of his daily stream of lies, lies and more lies. When will the so-called Republicans in Congress stand up to him, impeach him, convict him and remove him from office?

The Lying King is once again making up all sorts of false accusations about California's vote counting processes, and it is all a part of his carefully planned attacks on the elections processes in selected Blue states during the upcoming November elections.

The Lying King knows that many so-called Republicans in the House and Senate are in deep trouble with the voters because of the horrific punishments created by the Lying King: very high prices for food, gas, diesel fuel, jet fuel, rents, child care, health care, etc., and he knows that Democrats and Independents are likely winners in November so he is on the attack right now in the Blue states like California.
