Run Rocklin

Get ready for Run Rocklin!

Be aware, road closures will be in effect for the area tomorrow, 4/12 between the hours of 6am to 12noon.

- Fifth Street between Farron and Rocklin Rd for the duration of the event
- Third Street between Fifth Street and Sunset Blvd will be closed to all incoming traffic.
- Sunset Blvd (northbound) closed to all traffic.
- Whitney Blvd (eastbound) between Sunset Blvd and Argonaut Ave closed to thru traffic.
- Argonaut Ave is closed to thru traffic once runners start exiting the Sunset Whitney Recreation Area at the west crossing.
- Argonaut Ave eastbound will be closed when the 5k approaches Argonaut from Whitney Blvd and until the 5k clears Argonaut Ave at Midas Ave. Again, hard closure at the SWRA west crossing to all thru traffic.
- The west side bike lane on Midas Ave between Argonaut Ave and Fifth Street will be blocked off for the entire event. Cyclists will need to share the road with traffic when headed southbound on Midas Ave in that area.

Staff and volunteers controlling traffic will work with residents to access their homes, but there may be delays at times to accommodate those running the event. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we strive to make this a safe and successful community event.
