Since 1958, Natural Land Institute has been safeguarding northern Illinois’ forests, prairies, and wetlands. With nearly 19,000 acres protected, NLI restores habitats, protects native wildlife, and offers spaces for everyone to connect with nature. Every trail you hike, bird you spot, and wildflower you admire is part of a lasting legacy for future generations.

Gemini Solar's funds will support the Dexter Patterson Meet & Greet, Book Signing, and Program at the Nordlof Center, covering speaker, venue, marketing, refreshments, and children’s activity expenses.

A Mothers Love is a local nonprofit serving the community with free support for the past eight years. They provide clothing, essentials, pet food when available, and seasonal giveaways including winter items, school supplies, and holiday needs, all driven by a simple mission: helping anyone, one thing at a time.

Gemini Solar's grant will help keep the Free Shop open, cover operating costs, and support community events.

Our Community Grant Program supports nonprofits and local organizations making a difference in Winnebago County.

Each quarter, we award grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to support projects that enhance our community, including education, public safety, sustainability, and human services.
