Get ready to kick off the excitement of the 14th Annual Puri Cup Soccer Tournament, hosted this weekend at Sportscore 2 in Loves Park.

None of this would be possible without the legendary teamwork of Sunil Puri, Jim Keeling, and Wendy Fisher who turned a "citizen initiative" into the sports powerhouse we call home today.

Back when “it was time to take it to the next level,” Mr. Puri’s incredible land donation and his, Jim Keeling, and Wendy's leadership paved the way for a facility that boasts “five indoor soccer facilities, 16 volleyball courts, and 9 basketball courts.”

Thank you, Sunil, Jim, and Wendy for all your work in bringing this world-class facility to the Rockford area. And best of luck to all teams participating this weekend.
