Congratulations to the young creators at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at Phase 4 Learning Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Their comedic short film, “Fortune Favors the Hungry,” earned the East Coast Region’s Audience Choice Award in last week’s Fresh Films Coast to Coast Film Festival!
Synopsis: A chill night of Chinese takeout devolves into chaos for three friends after receiving strange fortune cookies with possibly nefarious intentions.
This film is one of 16 shorts produced by young creators around the nation as the capstone project of the Fresh Films Weekly filmmaking program.

Before we announce the winners next week - 4 youth interned with Fresh Films Alum Ashley Stephens ('07) who led them in creating this video and other BTS videos this year were created by our AMAZING Fresh Films interns from Warren High School, Davenport Community Schools, The Spanish American Center, Inc., and ITW David Speer Academy, A Noble School!
